Built for teams that run hosting infrastructure
Ledgeron is not generic accounting or CRM software. It is being built for businesses that operate hosting infrastructure and answer to the customers on it, and for the operators who do that work every day.
- Shared hosting providers
- VPS and cloud providers
- Managed-service businesses
- Infrastructure resellers
- Hosting teams replacing fragmented billing and provisioning tools
The problems it addresses
If you operate hosting at any scale, these will be familiar:
Disconnected systems
Billing lives in one tool, provisioning in another, support in a third. Reconciling them is manual work, and every gap between them is where mistakes happen.
Weak authorization boundaries
Too many staff accounts can touch too much. When any admin can act on any customer, one mistake or one compromised login reaches everything.
Limited auditability
When a service was cancelled, a price changed or a credit applied, can you say who did it, when and why? In most hosting stacks, the honest answer is no.
Risky staff operations
Day-to-day operations depend on people being careful in interfaces that let them do anything. Safety should come from the system, not from vigilance.
Ungoverned product changes
Prices and products change without lifecycle rules, so nobody knows which customers are on which terms, or what a change will actually do.
Legacy workflows
Automation gets bolted onto tools that were never designed for it, so every automated action is a small leap of faith.
How Ledgeron approaches them
Each area carries its status: some are implemented, and some are planned and not built.
| Area | What Ledgeron does | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Workflows | Product versions the database protects, and archiving instead of deleting. Services that show a failed state when building fails. Tax invoices that can't be changed once issued, with credit notes as the only correction. | Implemented |
| Authorization | Permissions granted per staff member rather than one admin switch, a fresh login before sensitive actions, and refusing when authority is unclear. | Planned |
| Auditability | An append-only audit log that holds no personal data, and a record of what decided each price, rate and tax. | Implemented |
| Integrations | Provisioning modules for cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin and Virtualizor/Proxmox are being designed, with more to follow soon. The connection point they plug into is built; the modules are not. | Planned |
| Deployment | Self-hosted, with a production installer and upgrade lifecycle as a requirement for general availability. | Planned |
| Interface | One modern interface for staff and clients, built around the jobs staff do most. No screen exists yet. | Planned |
Ledgeron is under active development. Which of these capabilities exist today and which are still being built is listed, without spin, on the product status.
Help shape Ledgeron before general availability.
We are building Ledgeron first for real hosting operations at GOZEN, then expanding into controlled early access. Hosting providers interested in evaluating the platform, giving structured feedback or following development can register interest now.
