Privacy policy

Effective date: 25 September 2026

This policy covers the website at getledgeron.com. It is operated by GOZEN HOST LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Dover, Delaware, USA, which is responsible for your personal data (the "controller" under the EU and UK GDPR). The Ledgeron application, when it launches, will have its own policy.

Contact for anything in this policy: hello@getledgeron.com.

What we collect

  • Early-access registrations: what you submit in the form: name, business email, company, country and any optional details about your website, current platforms, approximate scale, operational problem and interest level. We also record your consent, a timestamp and the IP address the submission came from, which we use for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We never ask for passwords, server credentials, IP addresses of your systems, or customer data.
  • Server logs: standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, time) kept for security and operations.
  • Analytics, only if you accept cookies: usage data collected by Google Analytics, described below.

Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, how visitors arrive and whether the site works well on their devices. If you decline, or never answer the cookie banner, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

  • What is collected: pages viewed, the referring site, time on page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size and approximate location (country and city). Google uses your IP address to derive that location and then discards it; it is not stored.
  • Who processes it: Google LLC, in the United States, as our service provider. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. We do not combine analytics data with early-access registrations.

The cookies involved are listed in the cookie policy.

How we use it, and on what legal basis

  • Early-access registrations are used only to evaluate your registration and contact you about the early-access programme. Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox on the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
  • Server logs are used to keep the site secure and running and to investigate abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics is used to improve the site. Legal basis: your consent through the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a)).

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. Data is only handled by the service providers we need to run the site: our hosting provider, our email provider (to reply to you) and, if you accept analytics, Google. They process it on our behalf and under our instructions. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Where it is stored

This site and its early-access records are hosted on servers in the United States. Registrations are kept in a system separate from the Ledgeron application. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the data you submit is therefore processed in the United States, where data protection law differs from yours; we apply the protections described in this policy to it.

How long we keep it

  • Early-access registrations: for as long as the early-access programme runs, then deleted unless you have become a participant. We delete a registration within 30 days of you asking us to.
  • Server logs: 30 days.
  • Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted by Google.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time: for analytics through , for early access by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getledgeron.com. We answer within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

California residents

This policy describes the categories of personal information we collect, the parties we share it with and how you can review or correct it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Do Not Track: the site does not change its behaviour in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Instead, Google Analytics only runs if you actively accept it in the cookie banner, and nothing else on the site tracks you across other websites.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell early-access registrants by email before it takes effect.
